From today, you can now store your Dogecoin (DOGE) directly in the Coinbase Wallet app, according to the recent Coinbase announcement.
The Coinbase Wallet already supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, XRP, Stellar Lumens, and over 100,000 different ERC20 tokens and ERC721 collectibles built on Ethereum.
Coinbase considers adding support for DOGE as an important next step toward their goal.
From next week, users can download the app on either Android or iOS systems, and all one has to do to locate the DOGE wallet, is tap ‘Receive’ on the main wallet tab and select DOGE.
The South African-born American entrepreneur and businessman Elon Musk, who is now considered to be the unofficial CEO of Dogecoin, must be so very excited about the fact that Dogecoin finally made its way to the Coinbase wallet.
Dogecoin is currently trading at $0.0025, and is only showing a minor gain of 0.28% on the day. We guess that the news did not yet hit the fan!
